If you’ve struggled to keep WhatsApp connected on your phone while using WhatsApp web on your laptop, you may soon be allowed to access your Whatsapp chats and utilise its functions without your phone!

According to Wabetainfo, this Facebook-owned application is testing the feature that will allow the same WhatsApp account to be used in four devices at the same time.

Currently, WhatsApp is supporting more than one device via WhatsApp web that allows you to use Whatsapp on your desktop or laptop, provided your phone is connected to the Internet. However, if your phone is disconnected, Whatsapp web will not work.

Well, this new multiple device support feature will allow you to use WhatsApp simultaneously without needing your phone to be constantly charged and connected.

Other than that, it is very likely that chat synchronisation across devices will be supported for WhatsApp users. These features, if released, will be available in both the Android operating system and IOS.

Previously, it was also reported that we may soon be able to mute WhatsApp group chats permanently!

These rumours have been going on for months but there is still no official update from WhatsApp yet. Hopefully we will be able to enjoy the new features soon!
