When we think face masks, we probably think of a few designs, but ones that share a similar basis between one another: a protective layer with straps for your ears. Whether it be three-ply surgery masks or N95 masks, the common understanding of their design is almost universal.
But maybe that’s the problem: they’re too common. So, leave it to Japan (when is it never Japan) to create something totally bizarre (if not a little promiscuous) for the sake of making a statement.
Introducing the lace bra face mask, by Japanese company Atsumi Fashion.
Initially designed as a joke, undergarment manufacturer Atsumi Fashion decided to turn fiction into reality and produce a line of reusable face-masks designed to look conspicuously like… a bra cup. Complete with the lacy frills.
And guess what, according to SoraNews24, these face masks immediately sold out in Japan upon introduction! However, given the new niche in the market that they have just created, Atsumi Fashion has decided to keep manufacturing these lacy masks for sale, and you can get them in a variety of very flattering pastel shades.
They also have normal, regular fabric masks, if you’re the shy type. You may purchase them through Lingerie Lab or Atsumi Fashion’s own online store.
So what do you think of these new face masks designs? Are you intrigued enough to purchase one for yourself?
