Debuting in Malaysia for the very first time is the Selfie Museum, a colourful, candy-sprinkled place that’s dedicated to the art of selfies. IG-worthy? Check!

Located at Fahrenheit 88 Kuala Lumpur, the large area measuring 7,000 square feet features nine delectable dessert-themed rooms, as reported by Wanista.com, and they are;

  1. The Giant Cakes
  2. Everything’s Sweet
  3. Fluffy Path
  4. Ice Cream World
  5. Rainbow

You can expect some rooms to be hosting a life-sized dessert sculpture too! Think durian and ikat tepi teh ais.

The museum is sponsored by various international and local brands like Samsung, Pandora, Baskin Robbins and Tealive.

According to Sean Tan, the Selfie Museum Malaysia Director, the inspiration for opening a selfie museum in Malaysia is to gather family and friends together and create long-lasting happy memories through selfies.

When asked about the choice of using dessert as the theme of the museum, he said that dessert carries a positive vibe which makes everyone happy, which correlates to the main purpose of the Selfie Museum, which is to spread happiness and positivity.
