In a Facebook post uploaded yesterday (14th August), they announced that you can now book your place online for both their branches in Pavilion and Sunway Pyramid. It is pretty easy to do and all you need is your mobile phone to scan the different QR codes for each outlet.

Here’s what you need to know:

1. You can only get one queue number for each mobile number

2. You only have 30 minutes to get back to the restaurant once your queue number is up otherwise the number will be invalid

3. The line-up page will inform you of your current queuing status after you have successfully received your queue number

4. Show the line-up page to Haidilao’s staff before you’re seated (Screenshot images and shared links are not accepted)

Do note that there is no guaranteed waiting time for each branch and the queue time is for the exact day. You also cannot book in advance for other days. There are different online queue number release times, which are 10.30am, 2 pm, 4 pm, 6 pm and 10 pm. If you see the words “This store is no longer accepting online line-up at the moment”, at the line-up page this means that the restaurant is full and there are no more queue numbers.

Who’s up for some yummy steamboat? Don’t forget to jio us along okay!
