Xiaomi Malaysia just gave out free powerbanks to members of the media waiting outside Istana Negara!

In several photos posted on their official Facebook page, Xiaomi staff clad in orange T-shirts can be seen carrying large boxes and handing out dozens of 20,000mAh powerbanks to reporters.

“You cover the news, we got you covered! From Xiaomi Malaysia,” a note on each powerbank box says.

What a thoughtful way of appreciating members of the media during this time of political crisis. Some of these reporters rely only on their handphones to take pictures and videos and often times their battery runs out.

Luckily for them, Xiaomi Malaysia has got their backs!

Previously, our YDP Agong had bought KFC and McDonald’s for the media, and even Milo and TuneTalk had given out free food and goodies to them.

You guys cover the news for us, we got you covered!Thank you, the unsung hero!#ForTheUnsungHero #NoMiWithoutYou #XiaomiMY #Xiaomi
