A pedestrian was knocked off her feet after she tried crossing the road near a traffic light at the Flamingo exit at Jalan Ampang.

According to Info Roadblock JPJ/POLIS, the incident happened at about 4pm on 5 April.

A video shows several cars waiting at a traffic light and a woman standing on the curb under the flyover. She can be seen waiting for motorcycles to pass by before crossing the three-lane road. It was raining at the time.

As she is about to reach the other side of the road, she starts to quicken her step and makes her way across the left-most lane. However, she does so without checking if there are any oncoming vehicles and gets rammed by a Proton Wira.

Passers-by and drivers are seen rushing to her aid, but it is not known if she suffered any injuries as further reports about the incident have not been made available at the time of writing.
