Wow, this is really scary! It seems nowadays robbers have new tactics, they aren’t content with stealing your possessions, they will kidnap you as well!

Just yesterday morning (December 8) at around 9.40am, a 49-year-old woman later identified as S. Jothimani was abducted in broad daylight outside a factory in Kampung Jawa, Klang, according to The Sun Daily. CCTV footage of the incident went viral on social media along with a message from her family members asking for information.

In the video, she is seen walking out the gates of the factory and greeting a man who then gives her some documents to sign. Just as she is signing the papers, suddenly he grabs her and forces her into the backseat of the white Mercedes Benz with the registration number KEE46. She struggles but is overpowered by the man who has accomplices in the car. OMG, that is really terrifying!

A man who got out quickly runs back to the driver seat and drives off just as two men from the factory comes running out. They give chase but unfortunately, the car manages to escape.

Shah Alam police chief ACP Shafien Mamat confirmed that they have received a police report and are investigating the case. Thankfully, NST reported that Jothimani was later found safe at around 10pm last night near the factory she was abducted, which was also her workplace.

Apparently, she was robbed by an alleged delivery service who had called her to come out and sign for an online purchase. 

Her brother, S. Sathya, 33, said,”She was found alone, near the factory (where she was taken away) in a weak condition. She is currently receiving treatment at a hospital here. She had several injuries. My sister told me that they took her jewellery and her belongings.”

The three men who robbed her have unfortunately escaped but police are looking for them.
