Beware of the relationship advice you give out; for the repercussions might kill you. In which case for an Indonesia girl, Wayan Mirna Salihin it did.
Jessica and Wayan during better days
Jessica Kumala Wongso (left) and Wayan Mirna Salihin (right) were once good friends, and have studied abroad several years together in Sydney. But today, Jessica stands trial for allegedly poisoning Wayan, resulting in her death.
Their friendship had fallen out when Wayan had given Jessica some relationship advice about her boyfriend, reports Daily Mail.
Shortly after, Jessica’s relationship indeed ended and the prosecutor claims she became more offended. Feeling bitter about the breakup, Jessica felt Wayan was to blame and sought revenge by planning to kill her. Prosecutor Ardito Muwardi told the court that it was the motive for the assault.
“The victim Mirna suggested to the defendant to break up with her boyfriend who was often rough and a drug user. She asked why date a bad person who doesn’t have any capital.”
Based on the CCTV footage which was recovered; it shows Jessica arriving way ahead of time and ordered an ice coffee. She suspiciously arranged some shopping bags around the drink to block it from view, and awhile later returned to her original seat and removed the bags.
Wayan’s father, Edi Dermawan Salihin said, “Jessica, she came alone (to the restaurant), only with the devil.”

Shortly after drinking the Vietnamese coffee at a popular Jakarta restaurant, Wayan collapsed on the floor and started frothing at the mouth; She passed away en route to hospital.
Jessica maintains that she is innocent of the crime.
Mr. Salihin has opposed the agreement between Australia and Indonesia that the accused killer would not a face death sentence should she be proven guilty of the murder. He adds that if the accused is convicted on the evidence collected by the Jakarta authorities, then agreements should be voided.
“She killed my daughter like (she was) a rat”, he added.

Mr. Salihin also said he was shocked when Jessica is regarded as the prime suspect for the murder as they were once very close friends, studying at the Billy Blue college in Sydney for years.
Jessica’s legal team have attempted to have the case thrown out, but failed as the prosecutors have presented clear elements that it was a premeditated murder.
The trial is set to resume on July 12.
