As the saying goes, hell hath no fury as a woman scorned!

Yes, that is right. No one is as angry as a woman who has been romantically betrayed.

A woman got the perfect revenge after being cheated on by selling all of her unfaithful husband’s rare collection of Yu-Gi-Oh! cards.

If you are a big Yu-Gi-Oh! fan, you would know that there are certain trading cards that can make a fortune in online auctions. And she definitely made a fortune out of her misfortune…

According to SoraNews24, the husband’s enviable collection of Yu-Gi-Oh! trading cards was put up for sale on Japan’s Yahoo! Auctions and it is currently still getting bids with the current amount standing at 20,503,000 yen. Which is about RM776,754.

Cards

The woman’s auction listing is for a 26 multi-pack box of Yu-Gi-Oh! cards. 25 of them happen to be unopened and in mint condition.

Along with her listing came the wife’s message that explained her reason for revenge:

“This is my first listing on Yahoo! Auctions. As an act of revenge against my husband for cheating on me, I have decided to sell his collection.

The items are unopened, so I’d be happy if I can get a good price for these. The boxes have been on a shelf with a cover over them, so they aren’t even dusty. I don’t have much familiarity with collectible card games, but to my untrained eyes the items have no damage or tearing, so please accept their condition as-is. Thank you.”

It was also reported that many of her husband’s (now ex-husband) cards were from the early series of the game’s history. This particular set includes packs from the Magic Ruler, Pharoah’s Servant, Curse of Anubis, Thousand Eyes Bible, Mythological Age, and Spell of Mask booster sets.

The woman’s auction just ended last Saturday but the final amount that she was able to sell it off for has yet to be revealed.

We can’t wait to see how much she made!
