Air Selangor has just announced that the repair work on the broken pipe that took place near the electric substation on Jalan Bukit Raja, Klang yesterday (14 October) was fully completed at 4am this morning (15 October).
Residents have started receiving water supply as early as 4.30am and the restoration of water supply to 15 affected areas will be carried out in stages based on the distance of the location of the premises and water pressure on the distribution system.
Water supply in the affected areas is expected to fully recover by 12.30pm today.
Air Selangor previously reported that a total of 15 areas in the Klang/Shah Alam area will be facing an unscheduled water cut starting Wednesday night (14 October) to Thursday evening (15 October), reported The Edge Markets.
According to Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) corporate communications head Elina Baseri, water supply had to be cut at 10.30pm on Wednesday night in order to repair the burst pipe and is expected to be completed by 9.30am the next day.

- Jalan Goh Hock Huat
- Bandar Sultan Sulaiman
- Jalan Pelabuhan Utara
- Pelabuhan Utara
- Sungai Sireh
- Seri Perantau
- Kampung Keretapi
- Jalan Limbungan
- Jalan Shahbandar
Water supply to the affected areas was expected to fully resume at 5.30pm today (15 October), she said.
“Air Selangor will inform of the work progress from time to time via our official communication channels on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, as well as Air Selangor smartphone application and website www.airselangor.com.”
