When driving on the road, do not ever be selfish by not giving way to the ambulance or police cars.

In a video shared by Facebook user Ka Cheng Saw in the Dashcam Owners Malaysia group, a white Honda car driver can be seen not giving way to the ambulance and driving casually on the road.

As seen in the video, the car driver did not yield to the ambulance despite hearing the ambulance siren. The car was also on the fast lane of the highway.

Many netizens commented on how selfish the driver was, and hope that the PDRM can do something about the matter, such as terminating the driver’s driving license.

Malaysia’s Health Director-General Datuk Dr Noor Hisham also took to his Facebook account and commented on the video. “Astaghfirullah, there are still drivers who are selfish to the purpose of not giving way to the ambulance even though the ambulance siren has long been sounded behind this car,” he stated.

Responding to a comment saying, “Tan Sri DG, I believe this is within your jurisdiction to ensure enforcement. Now life and death are in your hands”, he said that as a doctor, life and death are always in their hands.

“As for this case enforcement is one which is under the police but education is another hence I reposted this to create public awareness and education. Please help us to save lives,” he added.

Hope this video serves as a lesson to all of us, you will never know what are the great consequences of your selfishness.
