Malaysians are truly the kindest people when it comes to helping people in need, especially when it involves caring for our elders.
Recently, a security guard has become a shining example of this notion.
Penang Kini took to their TikTok page to showcase the security guard, Mr Sri Subra who works at the Penang General Hospital, after he was spotted feeding an elderly patient her food.
They wrote, “A security guard uncle with a noble heart. He was feeding food to a senior citizen who wasn’t accompanied by anyone. This security guard uncle named Sri Subra at GH Penang is the best.”
In the 12-second video, he could be seen patiently and gently feeding the elderly aunty her food with a kind smile on his face.
His actions has gained the praise of netizens
In the video which has garnered quite its share of attention, netizens praised the security guard for his kind actions.
“The best and most noble-hearted, Uncle Sri Subra. This is the kind of attitude that should be encouraged and celebrated among the Malaysian people that are of different races and religions,” said a user.
Others shared their experiences with the kind security guard
“For 2 weeks I went back and forth to see my child at the Penang GH. I always see this uncle, he likes to smile and always greets us when we walk past him,” commented a netizen.
Another said, “He is truly kind. Last night, I wanted to go to a 7-Eleven but it was raining heavily and I didn’t have an umbrella. He borrowed his umbrella to me. Thank you, uncle. God bless you.”
It is truly touching to see how the noble security guard goes above and beyond his job scope to ensure that the patients (and their family members) are cared for.
