When you work in the F&B industry, you’re bound to come across some odd and funny interactions with your customers.
@bangsudu on TikTok is a famous nasi lemak bungkus seller on the road side who is known for his RM1 nasi lemak. He often shares TikTok videos showing funny interactions with his customers.
In a recent video, a customer of his had gone to him to buy a few packs of nasi lemak. After the customer had gotten his order, he asked bangsudu if he has enough plastic spoons today.
Even though the seller responded that he does indeed have enough spoons for the day, the customer went on to take out packs of plastic spoons from his bag and hand it to bangsudu.
In total, the customer gave him 5 packs of plastic spoons!
In the comments section of the video, bangsudu wrote, “My dad has already bought me plenty of plastic spoons! Please don’t get me more!”
However, it appears that his customers have not heeded his advice and have continued coming to buy nasi lemak from him while gifting him even more plastic spoons.
In a video yesterday (January 19), a female customer had given him a container filled with plastic spoons.
Payment in spoons
The initial video has since gone viral and currently sits on over 1.5 million views on the platform. Plenty of netizens were amused at the interaction between bangsudu and his customer.
“After this we can give plastic bags, paper wraps or ingredients such as onions, dried chili, peanuts, anchovies or cucumbers.”
“Can start payments with the barter system,” suggested another user.
Another user commented, “So many ideas in the comments section, I will evaluate for my next mission.”
On the other hand, a few netizens wished him well and congratulated and prayed for him to constantly be surrounded by good people.
