In Malaysia, it seems that we have quite a number of interesting features with our public toilets which might not be common elsewhere. From having 2 toilets in one cubicle to having special VIP toilets for important people, the list goes on and on.

Recently, a Malaysian Twitter user took to the platform to share his hilarious experience with the sink tap in the public toilet of a mall in Kuala Lumpur.

In the video shared by Samad, he showcased his struggles with the sink tap of that restroom which apparently requires you to keep pushing on it to in order for the water to actually come out.

Despite several attempts, Samad appeared to be struggling simply to wash with his hands!

For those of us who have faced this predicament, we’d know how troublesome it is to wash our hands especially when we’re in a rush.

A common occurence

The video has since gone viral on Twitter. It currently sits on over 316,600 views on the platform alone! Netizens took to the comments section to share how the video had made them laugh and made jokes towards Samad’s struggles.

“That is for the Flash & Superman.”

This is why women go to the toilet together. One presses it and helps to get the water out. Wow genius,” said a user.

Another commented, “You’re supposed to push it with your head. Then only will you be able to wash both of your hands.”

Meanwhile, some shared their similar experiences in having to deal with such sink taps.

“This literally happened to me yesterday and I thought the sink tap was faulty, but when I tried a different one it was the same! Did they design it wrongly or what.”

“Seriously. This happened to me yesterday. I felt like it was trying to start a fight with me,” said another user.
