In a recent video from @update11111, a driver on DUKE highway comes across a motorcyclist who overtakes them unexpectedly. This took place on August 18 at 12:38PM.

Things get really intense when the motorcyclist, right after overtaking the car that was in the middle lane, abruptly swerves in front of it and pulls out what appears to be a hammer.

The motorcyclist threw a hammer

The dashcam footage captures the motorcyclist deliberately tossing the hammer onto the road, allegedly aiming directly at the car.

Thankfully, the driver was able to avoid the hammer just in time, leaving the car undamaged. However, the video captures the driver and passenger’s shock and disbelief as they react to the unexpected and unsettling behaviour of the motorcyclist.

The viral video has since sparked an online conversation, with many people speculating about the motorcyclist’s dangerous behaviour.

Netizens flooded the comment section with their theories and reactions to the incident.

“Earlier in the video, you can see that the driver was in the middle lane but partially encroaching into the right lane. That might be why the motorcyclist got angry.”

“Their plan is to profit from accidents by charging for towing services. I know someone who works in towing, and he shared another story about a group involved in this kind of scheme. They even ended up fighting over customers, and my contact was falsely accused of assaulting a customer, even though he didn’t actually do it.”

“No wonder there’s so much random stuff left on the road these days.”

“Be careful, there’s so many people who does things like this on the road these days.”

“Maybe the rider felt like he was in danger when the car tried to change lanes without signaling, not considering the motorbike’s speed. Regardless, the rider’s actions are unacceptable. It’s important for riders to stay aware that there are many reckless drivers out there. Thankfully, the driver practiced defensive driving and managed to avoid a collision.”
