Now this is the next level of thieving!

A video recently resurfaced and it’s being widely shared on Facebook, garnering over 2.8 million views. And for good reason too!

The video that was originally posted about 5 months ago shows a CCTV footage capturing a couple standing around in an electrical store. Ever so slowly, the man can be seen picking up a big box and he inched it out from its original place. It was unclear which electrical appliance he picked up.

The couple then looked like they were in a conversation, as if they were deliberating on purchasing the item. The man continued to stroll around the store and  then stopped in front of the lady, purposely blocking her from the shopkeeper’s view.

Now, here’s the surprising part as she was about to do the unthinkable!

In a blink of an eye, she lifted her baju kurung and walked over the electrical appliance, then hid it under her outfit! She proceeded to nonchalantly walk out of the store with the appliance under her dress – as if nothing ever happened.

Netizens who watched this video were both outraged and amused.

Well, that was certainly a rather original way of stealing, we’ll give her that. However, don’t forget that in this digital age, CCTVs and smartphones are everywhere. Let’s practise good deeds only before karma bites you back!
