In a Tiktok video posted by user durianator, a large crowd went silent after the hosts shouted “Malaysia Sayang PM” during a National Day event.

The 14-second video showed two emcees chanting “Malaysia sayang PM” and “Kami semua Sayang PM”(We all love PM), expecting the crowd to follow. Yet, the crowd went silent instead, with some even laughing at the statement.

The video attracted 2.2M views, 248k likes, 10k shares and more than 8k comments at the time of writing. Many find it hilarious, and some commented that we love the country, but not the government or ministers.
