Being faced with a robbery is scary enough, but what if the robbers were to be armed with guns?

Well, in such a situation, one jewellery store owner in Thailand decided to pull out a much, much bigger gun.

The 我们是马来西亚人 We are Malaysians Facebook page recently shared CCTV footage from a jewellery store, which showcased 4 armed robbers attempting to steal gold jewellery from behind a display, only to be scared off when the owner pulled out a massive shotgun and started firing.

In the video, the 4 robbers had showed up outside the jewellery store on 2 motorcycles. One of them then shot the store’s glass door before completely breaking it, allowing them to enter into the store.

While 2 of them held guns, the other 2 were armed with saw-like tools to cut into the metal bars dividing them from the jewellery displays. Immediately, they scattered running out of the store as the owner branded a John Wick-styled shot gun and started firing at the robbers.

2 of them were then seen running away on foot, 1 escaped on a motorbike while the 4th robber was shot by the owner as he attempted to flee along with his crew.

According to a report by Thaiger, the robber who was shot was taken to a hospital for treatment and one of the ones who fled on foot was arrested. The other 2 are still at large.

It was then revealed that the gold store owner is quite well trained in using firearms and has even won a shooting contest in the country. A lawyer also shared that the owner had every right to defend themselves as the robbers was attempting to steal their gold at gun point.

Kudos to the owner of the jewelry store for successfully being able to defend himself and his store from those robbers!
