Recently, a video of an oyen stuck outside of a condominium went viral after its owner had to call up our abang bomba to help rescue it.
In a video shared by its owner, @pmqq, the oyen appeared to be unfazed as it roamed around the columns in between the buildings.
Despite having nine lives, the cat did not take any chances after it had gotten stuck on the columns and walls of the high rise building and simply sat there and refused to return back to the window it had jumped out from.
“Fanta jumped out of the window and somehow ninja his way to the other side. He didn’t know how to come back, so had to call abang bomba to rescue him,” read the caption of the video.
Heroes to the rescue
Several abang bomba from the Jinjang Fire and Rescue Station then appeared at the scene as they hatched up a plan to help rescue Fanta.
With one firefighter tied to a harness, they managed to get Fanta into her carrier and get him safely back.
Always an oyen
The video has since gone viral on TikTok as it currently sits on over 1.1 million views. Netizens expressed their amusement over the video as well as praised the abang bomba for their effectiveness.
A couple of users commented on how it always seems to be an oyen that loves getting into trouble.
“The things abang bomba do for our oyens. Thank you for your service,” wrote a netizen.
Another commented, “The abang bomba has to risk their lives but all the cat does is just wait and stare at him approaching it.”
