First aid is a very rare skill that can save lives in times of need.

This CCTV footage taken from a living room in Harbin, China, has gone viral for how a little girl managed to save her father during a heart attack.

In the clip, her father was sitting on a chair clutching his torso when suddenly, he fell forward and onto the floor.

The alarmed child called out to her father, and soon after, she went into the room to get a pillow to elevate his head.

After that, she pulled him to make sure that he was lying somewhat flat and proceeded to do CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) for a few minutes.

Later on, the little girl moved to one of the rooms to get her father’s medication, counted the number of pills and fed him with a spoon.

She then moved to call her mother and asked her to hurry home.

According to See Hua Daily, the mother said this is the first time the little girl has performed this series of first-aid.

“She had seen first aid videos and I had taught her before, but this was her first time (actually doing it).”

She explained that her husband had undergone two heart surgeries before, and it took the ambulance 1 hour and 20 minutes to get to their house.

In the end, the child managed to save her father’s life, and her mother is extremely thankful for it.

“I am grateful to God for giving me such a sensible daughter!”

CPR is a skill that everyone, especially those who live with high-risk patients, should have.
