Today is the 5th day of the Movement Control Order and we are slowly seeing majority of Malaysians obliging and choosing to stay at home. As part of our battle to flatten the curve, the government has required everyone to follow this order.

Apart from that, staying at home also helps with controlling the number of potential cases that will stretch our health ministry resources in dealing with this pandemic. This is what we, the public, can do to help our front-liner who put their lives on the line to handle patients that tested positive and a video that has gone viral has shown the sacrifices that our health workers has had to make.

In the video that was shared on Facebook, it can be clearly seen that our health workers are using a protective layer on their heads made from your normal plastic bags. A health worker takes the plastic bag, measures it to the face of his colleague, then went on to cut a slit in the middle of the bag so that the face can pop through.

Watch the video here:

Mereka seperti ke medan perang tanpa senjata. Tabahnya kakitangan perubatan KKM disarungkan plastik sampah.

After wearing the makeshift protective layer, he goes on to wear his protective cap. This video has proven the hardship that our front-liners have to go through in order to serve us, the people. So please people, don’t be so ignorant about this pandemic. The virus does not care who you are, where you are from or what your background is. So just please be mindful and stay home.
