Every day, accidents happen all around us. But sometimes, one occurs that leaves us absolutely stunned.

Recently, a video shared by @mynewshub on Twitter went viral, showing a bus in Indonesia had fallen into a ravine. The video stirred up a lot of emotions with 725.5K views and 3,232K likes.

According to Liputan 6, the Mayor of South Tangerang (Tangsel), Benyamin Davnie, revealed that the incident happened on May 7th, 2023, on a Sunday morning. 36 of his citizens were involved in the accident.

The red-coloured bus was carrying a group of passengers from South Tangerang when it lost control. One passenger was killed, and several others were injured in the accident.

There were two buses that departed with a total of 107 pilgrimage participants. The first bus had 54 people, and the rest, 53 people, were on the second. The accident happened to the first bus, said the Mayor.

Meanwhile, information obtained, some passengers were already inside with the engine running. Witnesses also mentioned that the handbrake had been applied but the bus tires were wedged.

However due to the diesel engine and neutral gear, there was a vibration that pushed the wheel to move that leads the bus plunging into the ravine.

The scene was a frenzy of people, their screams piercing the air, leaving everyone in a panic state.
