If you say something offensive online, it’s just a matter of time before you make headlines when everything can go viral with just a few clicks. A TikToker is aware that she’s in the limelight for her recent remark, and she has since apologised for the matter.

In a TikTok post this morning (February 22), the TikToker apologised for her recent remark, where she said those who can’t stand noisy children’s should opt to eat at home instead. She said that when her own children were making noise at a restaurant, a whole family was staring at her.

She also took the time to respond to some criticisms that claimed she did not put any effort to calm her children down.

“Don’t judge if you don’t know my struggle”

She explained that when one of her children was crying, she repeatedly carried her out of the restaurant to calm her down, and claimed that the public did not see that.

“No one saw how I struggled to keep them calm.”

In the meantime, the TikToker who was on vacation during that time said that she decided not to take away the meal because there was only one dish left that was yet to be served. Instead of having it to go, she decided to wait inside the car with her children instead, while the others finished their dinner at the restaurant.

Once again, she apologised to those affected by her remarks, but at the same time “left a message” to those who insulted her children.

“My children are not wild animals”

As her remark has received major criticisms online, some netizens went as far as to insult her children by saying that they’re behaving like wild animals.

As a mother, it’s only natural for her to stand up for her beloved children.

“To those who said my children behave like wild animals, I hope one day you get a taste of your own medicine,” she said.

She also reminded restaurant operators out there to inform her in case they don’t allow families with noisy children in the premise.

“Just let me know, I won’t step into your restaurant. To those who adviced me, thank you.”

Children can be tough to control sometimes, and nothing is stronger than the mothers out there who tried their best to calm their children down while trying to eat in peace.
