There are many things in life that we take for granted. The food on our tables, our families, or even just the roof above our heads and the beds we sleep in – the idea of not having any one of these things is frightening.
If you think about it, it’s a scary life not having easy access to even the bare necessities, though the unfortunate people who have to live that reality never seemed to let that bring them down.
This is proven by a Facebook posting by Tarzanx Elimin Camry, in which he showcases foreign construction workers sleeping in and around construction materials. Some even use construction tarps as blankets while others create their own makeshift nap pods with big metal cylinders.
Ini lah perjuangan seorang laki2 demi menghidupi istri dan anak nya

Tarzanx captions the posting with, “This is the struggle of a man for the sake of his wife and child,” considering most of these workers take triple D (dirty, dangerous, demeaning) jobs in foreign countries in order to earn and send money back to their families back in their home countries.
These men would literally look for the most suitable place among the rubble and equipment to build a provisional bed and will settle for that without much of a complaint.

Netizens have taken to the comments section to send their praises and prayers to these hardworking men who help build the buildings we live and work in while they themselves have no roofs above their heads.
This comment reads, “May Allah protect and ease the affairs of these men who go out in order to earn a livelihood for his family.”
This comment goes, “Allah, so sad to look at. Sleeping just like that. May their burdens be eased.”
This one says, “What a big sacrifice these men make in order to earn a living for his family. Through rain and heat. May their burdens be eased.”
These foreigners leave their families and loved ones behind in order to earn enough to feed and house their families back home and to school their children, all while sacrificing their own comfort. So, the least we can do is to be nice to them, treat them no differently from ourselves and appreciate what we’ve been given in life.
So, the next time we complain about a lumpy pillow, let’s not forget that someone out there doesn’t even have a proper bed to sleep in.
