As a 90’s kid hailing from Pahang, Genting Highlands was my ultimate favourite place in the whole wide world.
And I don’t know about you, but many want the old Genting back.
Hock Leong Ngoo took to the KL吹水站 Facebook group to showcase images of Genting’s outdoor and indoor theme park before it was closed down for renovations. The nostalgic, old school images showcased the original rides and atmosphere of the park when it was at its prime.
He wrote, “Who has been here before? A lot has changed.”

It’s definitely a walk down memory lane for alot of us and it’s a little sad to know that this version of Genting is long gone. Currently, Genting is totally different from this with renovations gave it an absolute facelift.
Well, at least we’ll always have the good memories we made when we were kids in awe, every time we visited the old Genting.
