Kids, this is a reminder to never drink and drive, for you don’t know the trouble you might get into on the roads.

One 30-year-old from Tabuan Jaya, Kuching, learned the hard way after he had decided to drive drunk and ended up hitting 2 pedestrians, one in which ended up with broken arms while the other was unharmed, before slamming his car into the side of a shop lot.

The worse part for him though, is the fact that by hitting the pedestrians, he had enraged a group of over 50 individuals who then decided to pull him out of the car and beat the living lights out of him, as according to Utusan Borneo.

Videos of the incident have been making their  rounds online considering the mass of people rioting around the drunk driver.

Paramedics arrived at the scene shortly after, taking both the drunk driver and the 2 pedestrians to the Sarawak General Hospital for treatment.

We genuinely hope that this serves as a lesson to the man and everyone else to practice safe consumption of alcohol as you’re not just putting your own live on the line, but also other innocent lives.

Just take a Grab home la.
