What happens when you have pets but your neighbour doesn’t seem to like them?

Unfortunately, in Malaysia, poisoning cases happen.

The Malaysia Animal Association took to their Facebook profile to showcase an owner’s cats suffering from poisoning after a neighbour allegedly fed the cats poison-laced chicken.

They wrote, “Cat owner by the name of Zueduan Duani claims that his cats were fed fried chicken that contained lethal poison, this is a serious allegation and is considered an animal slaughter crime.

“Malaysia Animal Association is requesting for the owner of the poor cats to come forward to make an official report to the authorities. It is understood that the owner’s neighbour is the one that threw the pieces of chicken to the cats, causing them to eat the chicken then foam at the mouth. This is a very cruel act that’s very saddening.”

The poor cats could clearly be seen suffering as they bodies jerked with pain.

“If help is needed, the owner can contact Malaysia Animal Association at +601120901097,” they added.

A netizen shares his experience in the comments, saying in case this happens, what people should quick try doing is:

  1. Break 1-2 eggs and pour it into cat’s mouth
  2. Put pipe into cat’s mouth to fill its tummy
  3. Cat will then puke its guts out, hopefully also expelling all the poison

It is unsure as to what would lead anyone to do something this cruel. It’s understandable that not everyone likes cats but that doesn’t justify killing them.

We genuinely hope that the person who did this is brought to justice.
