Bumps on roads are used to slow down vehicles. When cars speed over them, people in the vehicle are sent “flying.”
Recently, a video has surfaced online of a motorcyclist crashing after hitting an “invisible” bump in the Petaling Jaya area. Watch it here:
In the video which was recorded sometime during the night, we can see that the road looks normal. However, as a motorcycle approaches, we can hear the person who was recording the video say:
“Abang, slow, slow, slow.”
The motorcycle passes through an unpainted bump successfully. However, another motorcyclist passed through and presumably did not see it. The motorcyclist was then flung into the air and crashed onto the road ahead.
The motorcyclists at the roadside wanted to help him but there were just too many cars there. The video ends there.
The caption of the video says that the accident happened at the Villa Tropicana area in Petaling Jaya.
Netizens in the comments condemned the contractor who was in charge of the bump and said that they should have put signage near the bump.
