A 28-year old bridesmaid was reported to have died after she downed strong wine during a Chinese wedding.

The bridesmaid who’s known as Yang was attending to a table of guests where the men then pressured her to finish the liquor which contained about 40-60% of alcohol. As it is common to pressure someone into drinking for the auspicious occasion, the bridesmaid happily complied and downed the alcohol known as Baijiu from a large glass.

The footage then cuts to the bridesmaid being in a really drunk state as she stumbles across the floor. Two men were helping her get on her feet but she soon fell unconscious. In the background, friends can be heard laughing at her drunk state.
