Sinar Harian quoted Hulu Terengganu District Police Chief Superintendent Sharudin Abdul Wahab as saying that the incident happened around 8:30 PM when the victim was driving a Proton Preve from Telemong towards Tanjung Putat.
Preliminary investigations showed that the man lost control of his vehicle at the location, swerved to the left, and crashed into a house in Kampung Chepoh, Telemong.
“The driver, a factory supervisor, suffered injuries to his face and head as a result of the accident,” he added.

According to Sharudin, checks showed that the driver didn’t have a valid driving license.
He added that the case is being investigated under Section 43(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
“The driver was taken to Hulu Terengganu Hospital for initial treatment before being referred to Sultanah Nur Zahirah Hospital (HSNZ) for further care. The vehicle will also be sent to the Computerised Vehicle Inspection Centre (Puspakom) for additional checks,” he added.
