Parents are simply irreplaceable. Understanding that, one would know as to how far a parent/parents are willing to go just to make sure that we are cared for, every step of the way.
But some people simply abuse that privilege, by shrugging them off despite all the sacrifices they make for you.
This is one story that will hit you right in the feels – the story of a daughter refusing to see her parents even when she knew that they braved the journey from Johor all the way to Kolej Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Selangor (KUIS) in Selangor.

According to netizen Zunnur Aiman Nurikhan, an elderly couple in their 50s shared a story of how they rode their scooter from Batu Pahat, Johor all the way to KUIS Selangor at 3 pm just to send a laptop that their daughter requested.
Upon arrival, they tried to arrange a meet up with the daughter only to be told to leave it at the guardhouse instead!

Zunnur writes, “Who in the world would not want to see their parents after all the hardship they had to go through just to send you your laptop!”
“When they arrived they tried to look for you but you were nowhere to be found. Then you had the cheek of telling your parents to just leave your laptop at the guardhouse.”
“Aren’t you aware that your parents made the journey all the way on a scooter. What more with your father being unwell, yet braving the journey just to give you what you want?!”

Yes, we are aware that a student’s life is always busy, but surely anybody would be able to make time to see their own parents right?
Realizing the dangers that may be faced by the elderly couple on their way back to Batu Pahat, according to Zunnur, upon meeting them a group of motorcycle riders helped the couple out by escorting them home from RnR Ayer Keroh all the way home.

“I hope KUIS will look into this matter. As for S******, your story, attitude, picture and screenshot of your discussion with your mother is with me.”
“I advise you to go back home to your parents and ask for forgiveness.”
The story which has gone viral on multiple Facebook pages has sparked much rage among netizens, with many condemning the girl and her actions.

In his discussion with her, the mother noted how ‘disturbed’ her daughter really was, up to the point of simply ostracising her parents entirely and claiming to be soon leaving for Thailand for a study visit!
Seriously?
Without knowing the girl’s full story it is best to not jump into conclusions just yet but instead focus upon the fact that she refused to meet her parents knowing they braved the blistering sun just to give her what she wants.
Knowing just how far parents are willing to go for us, truth be told, we would have made time for our parents even if it kills us.
