Uncle Kentang once again to the rescue!

Kindness knows no boundaries. Being able to help those in need, warms the soul and brings joy to others, something that Uncle Kentang is all too familiar with!

Despite taking a break for his own mental health and well being, Uncle Kentang continues to make way to help those in need.

Yesterday (2 January 2022), Uncle Kentang shared how he managed to spread some Christmas joy to those who have been struggling, by dressing up as Santa Claus himself!

“Even though I’m not Santa Claus that can respond to every requests, but I am here if there is any special occasion.”

In a video posted on his Facebook page, Uncle Kentang shared how he encountered a woman who is going through terribly tough times.

After being left by her husband, the Indian woman was left alone with her 2 toddlers and a huge amount of debt.

Due to the heavy burden that was dumped onto her shoulder, she was on the verge of taking her own life as well as her children’s, out of desperation.

Uncle Kentang to the rescue!

He then went on to promise her that he will help her to dig her way out of debt. Uncle Kentang also told the woman to not worry and encouraged her to stay strong.

“I told her not to worry. This will be the best ‘Christmas gift’ for her.”

Aside from helping financially, Uncle Kentang went on to start an initiative to help her small business grow by inviting her to their studio to introduce her business.

With the hope that this will pull her away from considering such a tragic act and the struggles that she’s facing, Uncle Kentang ended his post by thanking God for giving him and his team the strength to help the ones in need.

People are thankful for Uncle Kentang

Just a day after he posted the story on Facebook, the post has received 9,200 reactions with 221 comments and 86 shares. People expressed their gratitude for his continuously kind acts.

“Uncle you are the best Santa Claus in Malaysia. So thankful to have you.”

Thankful for all the kindness and positivity he has spread, some even claim that he’s our very own Malaysian Santa!
