In this pandemic, many miss their families and want to return to their homes. But that doesn’t mean you should blatantly break SOPs to do it!
According to a Sinar Harian report, two Bangladeshi men were detained at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) last Sunday after attempting to board a flight back to their country despite the results of their screening tests which revealed that they both were infected with Covid-19.
Their actions put the health of the officers on duty to guard the KLIA entrance at risk.
The two Bangladeshi men were supposed to board their final flight to return to Dhaka.
However, when they were about to check-in for the flight at about 9pm, the person at the counter found that the man’s screening test slip was positive.
As everyone knows, it is the standard procedure for international flights that passengers are required to include Covid-19 screening test results.
KLIA District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Imran Abd Rahman confirmed the incident. The policemen who patrolled later contacted the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) to manage the two men in their 20s.
It is understood that the two Bangladeshi men were taken to Hospital Sungai Buloh for further action.
