In Singapore, (well ofcourse it’s Singapore), a primary school mathematics question has been circulating the internet causing some serious intellectual, and some not-so-intellectual debate.
The post first surfaced from facebook user, Kenneth Kong after he posted a picture captioned: “This question causes a debate with my wife… and it’s a P5 question.”

Besides blowing up the internet, this question is also blowing people’s mind! If it take adults to debate over the answers, how is a primary school student expected to solve this? Many parents were concerned over their children being placed under worrying levels of stress.
Many people flooded the comments to join in the heated debate, each wanting to provide their own take on the answer. While there are some who just gave up.
You’d wonder, “Why is Cheryl being such a b**** and playing with these poor boys?”
