Malaysia’s hot weather can be absolutely bonkers. When it’s extremely hot, you can feel the heat even indoors. But nothing beats a cool breeze and dipping in a pool on a hot, sunny day.

And this family sure knows how to beat the heat! In a recent video posted by @miraazlan03, she gives us a glimpse of her and her family’s activities on a hot, sunny day at their home in Kuala Lumpur.

When all else fails, have an ice bath instead!

In the video, the family is seen preparing their inflatable pool, already filled halfway with water. However, it seems the water wasn’t cool enough for the hot weather, so they decided to take things up a notch by buying bags of ice to fill up the pool.

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Mira shared that she and her family decided to take a dip in the pool because it was particularly hot that day.

Fun and refreshing!

Mira revealed that her little sister came up with the idea of filling the pool with not just water, but also ice, to make it extra cool for everyone.

“We figured it would be a fun and refreshing way to beat the intense heat.”

She then explained how they called an ice lorry man and bought 6 bags of ice, which cost them RM4 each. When asked, she mentioned that they’ve used this method a few times already, especially on scorching hot days!
