In a response to the blackout that occurred, TNB has since broken its silence and issued a statement via their Twitter account.

TNB assured that their power supply is in good condition and following investigations, it was revealed that the power failure was actually caused by internal damage on the part of the user and that it was confirmed by the Election Commission.

TNB also assured that they would continue to monitor the situation and ensure that the supply remains stable throughout the process of counting the votes.
