In response to the blackout that occurred this morning at a polling station in Kepong, TNB broke its silence and issued a statement via their Twitter account.

TNB assured that the power supply is in good condition and following investigations, it was revealed that the power failure was caused by wiring problems as well as disruption of the supply system through mobile power on the user’s part.

In their tweet, it is revealed that the power failure also happened in SK Guru Kalghidar in Ipoh.

TNB also assured the people that they will continuously monitor the condition to ensure a stable power supply throughout the GE15.

We will also like to express our gratitude to the team in TNB for their continuous work and effort in ensuring the smooth process of the election!
