Three Killed After 2 Lorries & 2 Motorcycles Get Into Massive Accident on North-South Highway

At 10pm on 26th August, two lorries and two motorcycles got into a major accident on the North South Expressway (NSE) at Kilometer 269.9, reported NST.

Three people were killed in the accident, which caused a four-kilometre traffic jam near R&R Seremban.

Head of the Negri Sembilan Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department Supt Ibrahim Mohd Abdul Kadir said, “So far, three were killed including the motorcycle rider and a pillion rider, as well as the driver of the lorry carrying the gas cylinders. Details of the deceased are being obtained.”.

“The accident also resulted in the gas cylinders carried by the lorry to be scattered on the road,” he said.

According to the Waze navigation system application, the 20-minute drive from Bandar Ainsdale to Nilai was delayed by nearly an hour due to the accident. Motorists were urged to use alternative routes and to avoid the above-mentioned locations.
