Anyone who often ventures to or works around Mid Valley Megamall in Kuala Lumpur knows of an Indian temple that is located so close to the mall that it almost looks attached to it.
Well, there’s apparently a bit of a background story that has linked the mall’s success to the temple’s existence! Though this story comes with some frightful incidences.
Netizen, Andrew Sia, took to his Facebook page to recount how the Sri Maha Sakthi Mohambigai Amman Temple was supposed to be demolished and relocated to a different location, but things took a chilling turn and left the temple in its place. And now, the temple is said to bring prosperous outcomes to Mid Valley Megamall!
Andrew wrote, “Have you noticed the Indian temple next to Mid Valley Megamall, KL? The temple was asked to relocate as the land didn’t belong to it. But the temple God said, ‘Let me stay here and I will bring business to you‘. So the story goes. Well, Mid Valley Megamall has done super well. Was it a divine blessing?”
“Others have failed. For example, a mall in USJ, Subang Jaya, was allegedly linked to gangsters who attacked the Seafield Indian Temple to evict it. That USJ mall is almost dead now. Divine wrath? Believe it or not.”
According to some in the comment section, the temple was closed down during the relocation process and that’s when bad things started happening.
There were apparently many misfortunes and accidents which allegedly led to workers getting injured.
Though, when the relocation process was stopped and the temple was allowed to remain in its place, things apparently started going smoothly and the temple is now believed to bring Mid Valley Megamall luck and good Feng shui.
Remind us to never anger an Indian God or Goddess and hopefully, we’ll be successful one day too!
