Nor Azam Budin took to his Twitter page to showcase a Shopee page that actually sells ‘words of encouragement’!
He wrote, “This is the funniest thing I’ve read today.”
The page allegedly sells words of encouragement for a mere RM0.20, and sends the wisdom to the buyer via the page’s chat system.
In the conversation above, the words of encouragement read, “The waves are not big, but the boat is small. Don’t overestimate the challenges, but strengthen your faith as well.”
Not the only one
And it appears that there’s more than one page that sells these words to lift one’s spirits, with prices ranging from RM0.10 to RM1.00.
It’s truly amazing to see how amusing and enterprising Malaysians can be.
While many are taking these pages as mere jokes, who knows, the 10 sen worth of encouragement could save also someone’s life during these tough times.
