Junior Chamber International (JCI) Malaysia will hold a community marathon called “Leaders Run 2022” at MAEPS Serdang, on 4th September 2022. JCI’s role is to build young leaders to create a sustainable and positive impact on the communities.

The Leaders Run will organize a 5km marathon and is available in both physical and virtual runs which are open to individuals over the age of 12. This marathon experience encourages everyone to get involved, from avid runners to families as well as enterprising leaders from various fields. It inculcates the spirit of staying in healthy and fun communities around the nation.

Ellen Lu, National President of JCI Malaysia mentioned that the Leaders Run marathon will be the largest event of the year for JCI Malaysia. It will be an opportunity to gather as many young leaders and members of 73 JCI local chapters across the country. This event has also gained good response from JCI members from neighbouring countries to join this marathon for cultural exchange and exposure purposes.

The Leaders Run is expected to receive over 2,000 registrations.

JCI Malaysia has received good support from Tourism Malaysia and Cuti-Cuti Malaysia through the Tourism Sector Support Grant (GSSP) to promote and position Malaysia as a leading tourism destination in the Asian region and support the opportunities of Malaysia as a domestic tourism destination.

There will be prizes worth up to RM110K up for grabs too!
