It’s no secret that cats come in all colours and sizes, but the chonkier the cuter, right?

This Johor Bahru mall sure agrees!

The Sutera Mall Johor Bahru recently took to their Facebook page to showcase the Fat Cat Competition they held in conjunction with their Sutera Pet Fair 2023.

Fat 9

They wrote, “Look at all the cute and chubby cats who gathered at Sutera Mall today! Aww, cuteness overload indeed! Congratulations to the ‘little fat cat’ winners in the Fat Cat Competition!”

The looks on these fat cats’ faces are absolutely meme-worthy! Here are the best ones:

Fat 8 Fat 7  Fat 5 Fat 4 Fat 3 Fat 2 Fat 1

The mall also held other interesting competitions in conjunction with their pet fair, including a Doggy Concentration competition and a Poo Keeper competition, which called for participants to scoop up poop from a huge container of kitty litter. We can only imagine how that smelled. Actually no, we don’t want to imagine that.

While these competitions seem ridiculously interesting and unique, we genuinely hope that no cat owners purposefully overfed their cats in order to participate or win the Fat Cat Competition as obesity can lead to multiple health problems in animals.

With that being said, the winners of the Fat Cat Competition should really receive treadmills for their cats as prizes!
