A post by a business owner in Thailand has gone viral in the country after he shared how his Mercedes-Benz luxury car’s emblem was stolen while visiting a relative at a hospital.
Instead of getting mad, the business owner, known as Suea Ja, offered an olive branch at the thief, saying that if they’re planning to sell the emblem, he is ready to “support” them and buy it. Moreover, the businessman also advised the thief to not resort to a life of crime and offered them employment at his factory.
The post, which was shared on his dessert shop’s Facebook page Pangfuufuu has gone viral with over 60,000 reactions and more than 2,600 reactions as of the time of writing.
In the post, he added that there’s a sensor attached to the emblem, hence his Mercedes-Benz can’t function properly, with the current rainy weather further making it hard to drive the vehicle. He also thanked the thief for not damaging other parts of his car.
Hence, should the thief want to return it to him, Suea Ja said that they could contact him directly and he promised to immediately transfer money to them upon agreement.
In the comments section, many praised Suea Ja for his kindness and positivity, as well as prayed that his business would prosper.
In fact, he received so many comments from netizens that he said he could no longer read them all and reply to each. Furthermore, Suea Ja also thanked everyone for their advice and for sharing their experiences in the comments.
Unfortunately, as of the time of writing, the Thai businessman has yet to get his Mercedes-Benz emblem back.
