One of the best things in life is having food delivered right to your doorstep. Just over the weekend, a Taiwanese influencer has shared her thoughts on Malaysians having fast food.
In her post, she said:
“I think the blood flowing in Malaysians are actually chilli sauce and not blood. Every time I order McDonald’s they give me 8-10 sachets of chilli sauce and I just don’t know what to do with them.”
“I’m starting to think that the half the cost for running a fast-food restaurant would come from chilli sauce.”
According to her she’d usually specify that she doesn’t want any chilli sauce, but they’d apparently still give some regardless.
“I love spicy food, but I’m used to having tomato sauce for fries and for fried chicken. It’s usually sweet and sour sauce.”
“I don’t know what to do because it feels like a waste throwing it out, but the longer I keep it, the more packets I get. I had no choice but to throw them the other day and I can’t help but wonder if I’m going to go to hell for wasting food.”
She mentioned that she spoke about this on her IG story and to her surprise, Malaysians commented saying that they actually finish all the chilli sauce.
“Not only do Malaysians eat it with fries, but they would also put it in their burger!” she exclaimed.
“I think Malaysians don’t want to eat at McDonald’s, they just want the chilli sauce”, she hilariously added.
Many netizens found it funny and here’s what some of them said:
“But the chilli sauce is a basic! I would buy a big bottle before going back to Taiwan, it’s good with everything!”
“But this is really good, other fast-food chains don’t have chilli sauce that are as good.”
“When I was in Taiwan, I wasn’t used to having ketchup with my fries.”
“When I was in Taiwan, and they didn’t serve chilli sauce, I couldn’t eat it and panicked because chilli sauce is my soul.”
Dear fellow Malaysians, what is your take on this? How is your fast food eating habits? Do you finish all the chilli sauce given?
