Suspect Riding Pillion Fatally Shoots Unemployed Man With Criminal Records at Klang Fuel Station

A Malaysian man was shot at a fuel station in Klang last night (7 November) and suffered injuries to his stomach and chest.

The victim succumbed to his wound and passed away at the hospital while receiving treatment.

An unemployed man with multiple criminal records was shot dead at a fuel station in Klang

His death was confirmed by Datuk Shazeli Kahar, Selangor Police Chief, who said that the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) received a report about the matter at 11:13 PM. According to reports by Sinar Harian and Harian Metro, the 34-year-old man was unemployed and had multiple criminal records.

According to investigations, two suspects, who were on a motorcycle, approached the victim, and the passenger fired a few shots at the car and the victim. Datuk Shazeli said that the motive for the incident is still under investigation, and the case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code.

As a result of the shooting, the victim collapsed before both suspects fled the scene. At the time of the incident, there were other customers and employees at the gas station, who were all shocked by the shooting. The victim was rushed to the hospital for treatment, but to no avail.

In the meantime, Datuk Shazeli urged the public who saw or has information about the incident to come forward to assist in the investigation.

“Any information can be channelled by contacting Senior Criminal Investigation Officer, Assistant Superintendent Aminuddin Mahadi at 013-2104006 or the South Klang District Police Headquarters Operations Room at 03-33762222.”
