TikTok represents a new platform of social entertainment that provides a different outlet for users – where it is are premeditated and storyboarded, different from the nuance of Instagram.
Becoming more and more of a nuisance these days, TikTok has evolved from simply lip-syncing music videos to sinister pranks you can emulate with your friends.
And the app is not only limited to the youth but also to working adults.
Nowadays, instead of casually surfing through social media during working hours, people have also adopted TikTok as part of their release, and one employee received the wrath of her supervisor for TikTok-ing and selfie-ing while working!
Here is a video of the supervisor giving her employee an earful.
Apparently ratted out by her fellow colleagues, the female employee was approached by her supervisor to ‘discuss’ the matter only to find her engaged on her phone for 15 minutes, ignoring her supervisor completely.
“I have been in front of you for almost 15 minutes! No wonder, your friends have told me that you are preoccupied with your selfies and your TikTok Tok Tok.”
“When it is working time, I expect you to work, not THIS! Give me your phone.”
It was from this moment on, her supervisor made the decision to smash her phone to pieces which ultimately ended the video recording.
Shared by various pages on social media, the video has since left netizens divided by the supervisor’s actions.
One netizen commented, “It was a good thing that only her phone was smashed to pieces, things would be much worse if she was fired from her job instead.”
A few others, however, said that the supervisor’s decision to damage private property was a little over the top.
Well, for whatever the reason both parties are at fault in this situation, with one not being professional when confronting her employee, and the other for not respecting her working time.
