Myvi has been dubbed the “King of the Road” for how often they end up in bizarre situations on the road, not to mention how fast it can go as well. However, not everyone is a fan of the king.
Recently, on the UTAR Confessions 2022/2023 Facebook page, an anonymous student shared his experience of being humiliated by his group of friends. And the reason? Simply because he is driving a Myvi.
“I used my own savings and hard-earned money to buy a car. Is it that bad?” the student questioned.
According to his confession post, he tried to ignore what his friends has been saying about his car but it did not work as he cares about what they have to say. He revealed that his friends even said that with him driving a Myvi around, he will never find himself a girlfriend.
We didn’t know that Myvi is a major turn off in getting yourself a partner.
“I spent RM60,000 to get myself a new car and it’s not even a fake item! Sure, I can’t afford a fancy car but is Myvi really that bad?”
He then asked if girls really care about the cars that their partners drive.
Ditch the “friends”
Netizens have a lot to say about his confession post, with most of them praising his ability to afford a new car and suggesting to mingle with a new group of peers.
“Join a new group of friends.”
“It’s good that you’re using your own money. You don’t need to care what others are saying, they’re probably envious that you can afford to do so. There’s nothing wrong with Myvi.”
“You have a Myvi and it’s good. It hurts someone like me who drives a little kancil.”
“You have a car and that’s great.”
Regardless of the brand, it’s certainly an achievement that you can be proud of when you can manage to purchase a car. After all, Myvi King definitely is one of the local favourites!
