There’s been plenty of cases involving the abuse of stray dogs. However, there have been rare occasions where kind souls have warmed our hearts by providing love and care to these innocent dogs.
Recently, a doggo in Cyberjaya went viral after it was revealed that it loves nasi lemak and would always hang out around a nasi lemak stall run by a Malay mak cik.
Volunteer-run pet adoption service My Forever Doggo shared pictures of the doggo via a Facebook post.

The post reads, “MEET THE DOGGO WHO LOVES NASI LEMAK (a.k.a the nasi lemak ambassador)!” The dog is fondly known as Ms Chonky.
“Meet Ms Chonky, who got really cute and round as a result of eating nasi lemak given by a kind mak cik every day! This lucky girl sticks around the mak cik’s stall in Cyberjaya to get her daily fix of nasi lemak and mak cik never misses to feed her favorite customer too!”
They said that at first, they thought that the dog was pregnant, but Putri, the lady who shared the story mentioned that the doggos around the area have actually been spayed and neutered.
“We hope this furbaby doesn’t become too round too quickly as it might affect her health. However, with no second thought, good food is better than no food. Terima kasih, mak cik, for feeding Ms Chonky everyday and making her feel so loved,” they commended the mak cik running the nasi lemak stall.
Netizens praised the mak cik for feeding her
Plenty of netizens found Ms Chonky absolutely adorable. They also commended the mak cik for feeding her and prayed for her success.
“I am a big fan of this auntie’s nasi lemak which is one of the best in Cyberjaya. The dogs are all well behaved and will not disturb you… they will wait till she finishes selling then the auntie will give them the leftovers,” said one netizen.
Meanwhile, another user said that the auntie has been selling nasi lemak and feeding the stray dogs there for 5 years.
“The dogs never disturb anyone who comes. They are so smart and just love to lepak there with the aunty. She told me that these dogs have nowhere to go and no one to feed them so she started taking care of them,” they added.
Another user said that the dogs acted as bodyguards who welcomed any customers that come to the stall.
For those of you who are interested, the nasi lemak stall is located in front of the Q Cells factory and is only open on weekdays.
