Steven Sim Helps Out Penang Student With A Laptop To Ease Her Studies In Egypt

Steven Sim is no stranger in helping people in need. From helping stranded couples to people struggling to make ends meet and everything in between, he is there to lend a hand where he can.

Taking to Twitter, he shared his latest philanthropic endeavour visiting a future Al-Azhar student who needed a laptop to ease her studies. Here is a video of his latest visit.

“This laptop was the last unit I donated to a student in Kg Tasek Junjung, Bukit Mertajam, who is about to further her studies in Syariah law at University Al-Azhar in Egypt. “

“I spent time with Intan and talked to her. I hope Intan can achieve all that she wants in life.”

In the video, Steven also said that he provided financial help to ease Intan’s journey, and also informed that Zakat Pulau Pinang will also assist her.

Netizens applauded Steven Sim’s effort for continuing to help those in need. One even asked whether Steven shared his own experience visiting Egypt, all the way back in 2015.

“Yes, I shared my experience. I remembered fondly of eating lamb head briyani.”

Receiving the adulation of netizens. let’s hope that it will inspire many politicians to follow Steven Sim’s footsteps.
