Good news for all school-goers!

The government has just announced that all primary school students in Malaysia will be given free breakfast starting in January 2020. According to the Education Minister, Dr Maszlee Malik, this effort is to ensure that students stay healthy and active so that they can pay attention during Teaching and Learning.

Dr Maszlee was quoted by Astro Awani as saying,

“Our children need proper eating practices and a balanced diet to ensure that they are always healthy and active as it will help them focus on their studies.”

“The Ministry of Education is very concerned about the students’ diet and will constantly implement various initiatives to ensure that our children are fed with good food.”
